Description

Yunnan Baihao Yinzhen shares the same lineage as Fujian’s traditional Baihao Yinzhen. Modern white tea processing techniques can be traced back to the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty (1796). Inheriting traditional white tea craftsmanship while leveraging the ecological advantages of highland cultivation, Yunnan Baihao Yinzhen has developed its distinctive character of “intense pekoe aroma with enduring sweetness.”

Its meticulous production standards, health benefits, and brewing aesthetics make it a tea treasure valued for both drinking and collecting.

Baihao Yinzhen offers remarkable health benefits, including fever reduction, detoxification, metabolic regulation, antioxidant and anti-aging effects, as well as skin nourishment and dental protection. These properties have made white tea increasingly popular in the market in recent years.

Yunnan White Pekoe Silver Needle Pearl – The Tea Fairy among white teas

Our Baihao Yinzhen is harvested from Yunnan’s low-latitude, high-altitude regions, where the tropical rainforest climate and distinct monsoon seasons create unique growing conditions for tea trees.

Our Yunnan White Pekoe Silver Needle tea benefits from abundant sunlight exposure. The tea leaves are traditionally sun-withered and hand-rolled into pearl shapes.

The tea presents a complex aromatic profile dominated by pekoe, floral and honey notes. The liquor displays a fresh, elegant character with a mellow and full-bodied taste, accompanied by pronounced sweetness and saliva-inducing aftertaste. The bright pale yellow infusion offers a refreshing mouthfeel.

Yunnan White Tea is rich in flavonoids (containing 2.5 times more than regular tea), tea polyphenols, and active enzymes. It effectively eliminates free radicals, delays aging, and assists in reducing blood lipids and blood sugar levels.
